Own-label wine for supermarkets.
Wine sourcing and product development shaped around your buying brief.
Atelier Wines works with supermarket buyers to develop own-label wines around consumer demand, style, target price and commercial fit. Led by Ray O’Connor, Master of Wine, we connect wine sourcing and blending with label design, packaging procurement, bottling and technical compliance.
From category opportunity to finished wine
Bring us a defined brief or an opportunity you want to explore. We assess sourcing options against your intended customer, price position, launch timing and volume. Samples and blending give your buying team a practical basis for evaluating the proposition.
Developed with production in mind
Packaging, bottling and technical requirements belong in the brief from the outset. We agree the scope with your team and coordinate the relevant work with production partners. Shipping and import documentation typically sit with the client.
Initial minimum order: 6,000 bottles. Share anticipated launch and ongoing volumes so sourcing and production reflect the programme.
Retail development in practice: Al Fresco
Commissioned by Co-op buyer Sarah Benson MW, Al Fresco developed a chillable Garnacha red at 11% ABV around an emerging consumer trend. The wine received wine and national press coverage and featured on Saturday Kitchen.
