Seven Summers
Founder-Led 7% ABV Rosé Case Study.
The opportunity
Jessica Ennis-Hill wanted to create a rosé that reflected balance: all the pleasure of Provence, with a lower-alcohol profile suited to modern drinking occasions.
The challenge
The challenge was to create a 7% ABV rosé that still felt credible, elegant and premium. In wine, alcohol contributes to texture, balance and flavour, so the project needed more than a simple alcohol reduction.
Atelier’s role
Atelier Wines supported regional sourcing research, technical evaluation and wine style development. The work focused on identifying a rosé base wine capable of delivering freshness, pale colour and elegance, while assessing the most suitable alcohol-adjustment route for a balanced mid-strength wine.
The result
Seven Summers is a premium 7% ABV rosé proposition that connects founder credibility, moderation insight and a recognisable Provence-style drinking experience.
